Bio
I'm 31. I have a BA in Astronomy-Physics from Colgate University.
I have an MS in Physics from New Mexico Institute of Mining and
Technology. Now I teach developmental mathematics at a community
college. I've been married four years and my husband is similarly nerdy.
He, at least, has a nerdy job. We've got three dogs, two cats, and a
plethora of fish and aquatic creatures. I like to knit, and garden, and
read fantasy and scifi.

I do not have a twitter and I do not text. My phone is for talking.
I know, I am very anti-phone technology for a nerdy 31 year old. My
friends and my brother keep chastising me. I'll tell you what I tell
them, Deal.

I’m going to start my day out with a steam and massage. I am already tense for meeting week (I HATE meetings), so I’m going to go get relaxed.
I have a couple errands to run on my way home.
Lunch at work as I plan the attack on my office.
Attack my office. It is a mess. My office mate moved away and I generally stop caring about being neat an organized at the end of the semester, so it is kind of a disaster area.
Hopefully, I won’t get interrupted too much during the cleaning process. I’ve blocked off two hours, I’d like to actually get finished so I can move on to prepping.
Three-four hour meeting. During this meeting I am hoping that several committees will get set up (so I don’t end up doing the bulk of the department work) and that I make significant progress on the hat I’m knitting. It is a stranded hat, which lends itself to maximum zen. For some reason, when I’m stranding (I use both hands) I just feel so balanced and peaceful. Which is the main reason I’m bringing my hat to meetings this week.
Come home at a reasonable time (fingers crossed) and eat pizza. Then veg out with knitting and/or spinning, drink sima, and watch TV.
