Thank you! Along with our developmental/remedial mathematics courses, we also teach a study skills class specifically for mathematics. I use various and sundry math games as a form of active studying in class. I never got much out of someone lecturing me on how to study, so I try to make sure that we actually study together. I also try to make it fun. Give students 40 problems on a worksheet and they groan and complain. Give them 240 problems in a game and they are all excited. ;-)
