One of the more important influences from my childhood. Nothing beats the scene where Sara Crewe and Becky wake up in the attic and find it has become a saffron-colored wonderland, swathed in silks and fragrant with breakfast foods.
I also have the same birthday as Frances Hodgson Burnett.
This was one of my favourite movies when I was little.
Oh, me too. I looked for it several years ago and it was only available in VHS (so I got two). I should see if it is out in DVD yet…
